Abstract
Translation technology has made very rapid advances in recent years, and we now expect our devices to provide us with serviceable translations of many kinds of text, at the touch of a screen. Literary texts are still viewed as an exception to this trend, but is it only a matter of time before we can expect Google to come up with a decent translation of Shakespeare?
