The chapter considers social work practice with older people. It includes demographic challenges and opportunities of social work with older people in a post-COVID-19 pandemic world; the policy and legal context of work, including working with those eligible for local authority funded support and those who organise and fund their own care. The chapter includes working with older people who are experiencing mental health challenges.
