Stepping out of the classroom and into industry for the first time in my career, I have been given a number of insights into the ‘behind the scenes’ science and operations that underpin the resources I used to teach with. One notable thing, whether it comes from climate scientists working for the US government, science museum curators in California or liaising with experts from major energy companies worldwide, is a relatively new coinage: the term ‘climate services’. What are ‘climate services’ and how can they be used in education?
