Abstract

After reading this chapter you will be able to describe the mechanisms through which human health depends on ecological systems; recognize the sources, pathways, impacts and control measures for environmentally mediated disease; discuss the contribution of human activity to climate change; and describe the processes through which climate change exacerbates health inequity.
