The article provides an overview of the regulation of the pay-television (TV) market in Great Britain in 2014. It explores how the securing of exclusive rights agreements with respect to particular forms of content can result to foreclosure in the market of downstream pay-TV. It discusses the interventions of the Office of Communications in 2004 and 2006 which resulted to broadcasting rights' limited unbundling for the English football Premier League..
