Abstract

This essay examines the work of lan Miles and his colleagues on the 'home of the future'. This critique of Miles et al argues that the question of technology is not technological but is rather a social question. Rather than exploring how information technology is delivered into the home, it argues that we should explore how the home is being delivered up to information technology. Miles presents his response following this essay
