The SoftOscilloscope system is a tool for monitoring and collecting analogue data. It has a menu system that can be tailored to the needs of students in the practical laboratory. It can also run concurrently with a tutoring program which in turn can both access the data and can control the data acquisition system. It is designed for IBM compatibles running under MSDOS and a variety of analogue interfaces.
