Abstract

In the Wagner approximation frames, the exact solution is constructed for the problem about penetration of an elliptic paraboloid with variable velocity into an ideal and incompressible liquid. It is shown that the body-liquid contact region is elliptical one for arbitrary immersion law. Loads are determined that act on a freely falling body in its impact onto the liquid surface.
