Abstract

Steady three-dimensional flows due to an immersed disturbance that propagates at a constant velocity U along the interface between two semi-infinite fluids, with a lighter fluid lying above a heavier one, are calculated. Three-dimensional fully localised gravity-capillary solitary interfacial waves, in the absence of the disturbance, are also computed.
