An extensive annotated bibliography for Oxford Bibliographies (OUP) Childhood Studies highlighting many of the key works published in the field of girlhood studies. It covers broad topics such as key journals, edited collections and methodological papers as well as more specialist areas like girls in activism, girlhoods in history, girls and education, girls and material cultures, as well as newly emerging fields. There are 93 entries sorted into eleven sub-fields, each subsection has its own overview of the field and each individual entry has a short overview of the work's intervention.
