Abstract

A 26-part TV drama series ‘Ishq Ki Inteha’ directed by Kamran Qureshi and Iram Qureshi written by Zafar Meraj. The serial discussed the issue of mafia traps in women jails and saloons for forced prostitution through fraudulent job opportunities, in forcibly employing young boys for debt collection, blackmailing, gang activities, and in making jobless people habitual alcoholic and gamblers by providing them easy debts. Kamran Qureshi and Raheel Rao were nominated as producers in Lux Style Awards 2010 for Best Series Award. It was a combined production of Evergreen Media Europe Ltd and Pinnacle Productions. The series was broadcasted on Geo Television Network in the US, UK, UAE and Pakistan and is available on DVDs.
