Abstract

We aim to conduct a rapid review to identify and synthesise evidence on behavioural, psychological, psychosocial, educational, self-management, social, nutritional and other non-pharmacological support approaches for adults with smell and/or taste disorders. The review will examine what types of interventions or intervention components have been evaluated, piloted, implemented or explored, how they have been delivered, and what is known about their outcomes, acceptability, feasibility and relevance to patient needs. The findings will inform future intervention development and highlight gaps in the current evidence base.
