Roger is 60 years old and has been diagnosed with young onset dementia. A sportsman by professional background, with a keen interest in football, he is currently being treated for widespread metastatic cancer, which has contributed to a rapid decline in his physical state of health, requiring admission to hospital over the weekend. Before meeting him, I have acquired some basic information on his health, background and dementia diagnosis.
